Your new role
As an EC&I Work Pack Engineer, you will be responsible for developing EC&I Installation Work Packs (IWPs) from client‑issued Construction Work Packs (CWPs). These IWPs will be used to safely guide site installation activities and to track and measure construction progress.You will play a key role in the successful delivery of a large‑scale energy infrastructure project, ensuring EC&I works are planned, resourced, and executed efficiently while maintaining strict safety and regulatory compliance.
Developing EC&I Installation Work Packs that meet technical, safety, and regulatory requirements
Ensuring work packs include all required drawings, specifications, procedures, and materials
Collaborating with project and construction managers, engineers, and wider stakeholders to plan and schedule EC&I activities
Coordinating with procurement and materials teams to ensure timely availability of resources
Identifying potential risks or issues and proactively resolving them to avoid delays or safety concerns
Communicating effectively across departments to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables
Keeping the Project Manager informed of progress and any emerging issues
Attending meetings with clients and their representatives when requiredWhat you'll need to succeed
Minimum 5 years' experience in EC&I engineering, construction, or maintenance
At least 2 years' experience producing EC&I work packs
HND/C in an EC&I discipline or equivalent industry experience/apprenticeship
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work within large project teams
Good IT capability, including MS Office and Navisworks 2024
