Our client, a reputable company within the Building Control sector, is currently seeking a Registered Building Inspector to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals to be part of a small to medium-sized enterprise looking to grow their Kent area. Our client handles a diverse range of projects from domestic to commercial, ensuring a varied and interesting workload for their team members.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conducting inspections and assessments of building projects to ensure compliance with building regulations
2. Providing expert advice on building control matters to clients and stakeholders
3. Preparing detailed reports and documentation
4. Monitoring ongoing projects and ensuring standards are maintained throughout the construction phase
5. Identifying and resolving issues related to building control and compliance
6. Liaising with local authorities, contractors, and other stakeholders
7. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all inspections and outcomes
8. Upholding high standards of customer service and client relations
Job Requirements:
9. Experience in building control or a related field
10. In-depth understanding of building regulations and compliance standards
11. Proficiency in assessing and inspecting building projects
12. Strong report writing and documentation skills
13. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
14. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
15. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
16. Relevant qualifications and registration as a Building Inspector
