Maintenance Worker
40 Hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Salary: £26,308
The Key duties in this role will include;
* To carry out all aspects of school and residential maintenance
* To carry out routine health and safety and compliance checks
* To ensure that the materials used and work carried out supports the aesthetics of the Trust
* The post holder will be required to join team projects as required and to carry out outdoor building/maintenance including fencing as required.
* To carry out general painting and decorating as required.
* To visit local merchants to obtain materials using the Trust ordering system and obtain quotes if required.
* To maintain equipment such as machinery and tools that are required to carry out the duties of the role;
* To ensure the safety of all students, staff and members of the public. Fully complying with the Trust's Manual Handling Policy and Practice.
* To maintain the building fabric in good decorative order across site by carrying out general internal and external painting and decorating works to new and existing areas.
* Current Full UK driving license (Essential);
To undertake this position successfully, you will have;
* Experience of working in a maintenance or caretaking role;
* Experience of working in a similar physically demanding role;
* A flexible and professional approach to work is required

Working with hand, head, heart and place, Ruskin Mill Trust helps individuals to re-imagine their potential.We are seeking to appoint a Maintenance Worker to work as part of the maintenance team under the instruction of the Head of Maintenance & and Aesthetics with the upkeep of all Sunfield Garden School and Children's Homes buildings and workshops across the site.
