SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant (Autism Support – Year 4) | Lancaster
Location: Lancaster (Primary School)
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £13.75- £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only

We’re working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lancaster to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 pupil with Autism on a 1:1 basis.
The Role:
* Provide individualised support to a pupil with an EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan)
* Help the child access and engage with the mainstream curriculum
* Work closely with the SENCO, class teacher, and external professionals
* Support the child’s social and emotional development, both in and out of the classroom
About You:
* A caring, patient, and resilient individual with a passion for helping children thrive
* Experience working with children or individuals with SEN/Autism is highly desirable
* Able to build trusting relationships and adapt to the child’s individual needs
