Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a successful and inclusive secondary school inHampshire, currently seeking to appoint aDirector of Mathsfor aSeptember 2025start. This is a full-time, permanent leadership position, ideal for an experienced leader ready to drive continued success across Key Stages 3 and 4.
About the Role:
As Director of Maths, you will take strategic responsibility for the development and delivery of an ambitious, engaging, and high-impact Maths curriculum. You will lead a committed team of subject specialists and work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure that all pupils make outstanding progress in Mathematics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the Maths department, championing high standards in teaching, learning, and assessment
* Inspire and develop a team of teachers through supportive line management and clear vision
* Design and refine curriculum delivery that meets the needs of all learners
* Monitor and drive student progress across all key stages, using data effectively to inform teaching
* Contribute to whole-school leadership and strategic planning initiatives

* A skilled practitioner and leader with a strong background in secondary Maths education
* Evidence of raising attainment and improving outcomes for students
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead by example and foster team spirit
