Stock Controller | Cheshire | Full Time | £30,000-£35,000 depending on experience

What will your role look like?
Assisting with stock ordering and expediting (low value/volume) using the current Exact system
Begin improvements to the system to ensure all SKU parameters are added to the system to enable the running of MRPs with sufficient information
Data entry to various systems and update requirements, pricing spreadsheets, purchase price files, stock control parameters etc
To produce packing specifications where necessary
Involvement in New Component Sourcing/Information gathering
Involvement in Current component/New supplier sourcing
Collation of RFQ results for comparison.
Chasing receipt of amended specification issuances
Set up/implement of filing system on server to enable easy collation of supplier documents, to contain Audit/Ethical/T’s and C’s/RoHS/PAH/REACH/Relevant compliance and approval documentation
Placing of purchase orders
Placing manual purchase orders for sundry items as required
Regularly review stocks where movement is slow and work on an action plan to reduce.
Review monthly KPI stock level targets
Assist with archiving purchase orders and supplier information
Liaising with suppliers to ensure that current lead times for components are being monitored so that possible supply problems
Scheduling delivery of all components from supplier to meet production requirements, liaising with sales to ascertain orders in hand and for forward forecasts
Keeping stock levels to the required levels and liaising with suppliers to delay or call forward orders
Progressing orders to time and liaising with suppliers to ensure deliveries are on time
Producing regular stock reports to monitor minimum stocks, stock valuation, stock movement etc
Continual liaison with the Product/Project Manager to ensure new developments are being monitored and availability and cost prices are being obtained
Filing and general office administration
