What you will do
* Provide safe and timely delivery of front-line occupational therapy services within the directorate, making a tangible impact in the lives of those with learning disabilities and autism.
* Support with triage and reduce duplication between health and social care, helping to streamline processes and reduce occupational therapy waiting lists.
* Assist external care providers to ensure correct and safe moving and handling tasks, promoting best practices and safety.
* Complete reviews of care packages to ensure the best value for adult social care and optimal use of available equipment.
* Review double-handed care packages to determine necessary adjustments.
* Offer mutual aid to other occupational therapy areas as required.
* Deliver thorough OT assessments and reviews across the directorate, ensuring top-quality care and support.
Applicants must be registered with the HCPC and possess a valid driving licence, as the role involves travel across locations.
