As a Technical Consultant Intern in the Risk Research & Quantitative Solutions team, you’ll support the development of innovative analytics, AI, and model risk management solutions used by leading organizations. You’ll collaborate with experienced consultants, product managers, sales teams, and R&D to understand market needs, help shape solution direction, and contribute to thought leadership initiatives.
This internship is a chance to learn how industry experts work with customers, translate business challenges into analytical solutions, and support the go-to-market strategy for SAS technologies.
As an intern, you might:
1. Assist in preparing sales materials, presentations, and demos used in customer meetings.
2. Contribute to use cases and proof-of-concept work by gathering information and supporting senior consultants.
3. Help research industry trends, emerging risks, and competitive developments to support our solution strategy.
4. Support the team during customer engagements, including discovery sessions, preparation of best-practice materials, and documentation.
5. Participate in thought leadership activities such as drafting content for blogs, summaries, or internal knowledge documents.
6. Help maintain relationships with internal teams (sales, product management, marketing) by supporting coordination and follow-up activities.
7. Assist with preparing materials for training sessions, workshops, or events for sales and partner teams.
8. Contribute to gathering market and customer insights that help guide future solution development.
Required Qualifications
9. Degree Type: Bachelor’s, Master’s
10. You are a recent graduate, final year student or a Master's student in majors including Risk Management, Business Management, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Statistics or equivalent.
11. You've got programing experience in one or more of the following languages: SAS, SQL, Python.
12. You are interested in risk management, quantitative modeling, AI/ML, or financial analytics.
13. You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are and influence everything we do.
14. Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
15. You’re interested in the future of Analytics and AI and embrace technology.

Hybrid or Remote in Glasgow, Dublin, Marlow or London.
