A new role has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join an FMCG manufacturing business in Telford offering excellent career advancement opportunities. The full-time Maintenance Engineer role comes with a generous salary of over £49,400K and many excellent benefits and opportunity to earn well over £50K with Over Time. This role will suit energetic engineer with a good level of training and understanding of automated systems looking to develop their engineering career in a high technology manufacturing site.
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be working within a busy manufacturing environment, conducting PPM on machines, scheduling repairs and installation of machines, supporting the senior engineers with ways to improve the machines and downtime, maintaining paperwork, reacting quickly to breakdowns and reporting any major machine faults to the Lead Engineer.
Responsibilities:
* Be responsible for the installation and commissioning of any new machinery.
* Plan and carry out routine scheduled and preventative maintenance work.
* React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties and work efficiently to fix the issue.
* Maintain documentation, log all breakdowns and servicing work.
To apply for this Maintenance Engineer role, you will need a minimum of 3 years of experience within an FMCG manufacturing business. You will also require the following:
* Experience with both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
* A recognised certificate/qualification in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering.
* Good level of education with strong written and verbal skills.
