Legal Coordinator / Administrator :
A role supporting a team of top performing employment solicitors/lawyers.
A role entailing:
1. Managing the fee earners' diaries
2. Setting up case files and sending terms of business
3. Manning online chat portal for the firm’s website – dealing with client enquiries and obtaining details for solicitors or call backs
4. Verifying ID and checklists
5. Assisting firm’s solicitor with requests, including producing Adviser’s Certificates and incorporating them into Settlement Agreements
6. Raising invoices, proofreading documents
7. Preparing, printing, and scanning bundles for Employment Tribunal or Court cases
8. Fielding telephone calls and taking details of new enquiries for a call back by one of the firm’s solicitors
The ideal candidate will be a methodical learner, possess an excellent telephone manner and communication skills, and demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills. They should be able to prioritise their workload, multitask, work independently with a ‘can do’ attitude, and adapt to changing requirements. A positive outlook and good team spirit are essential. The candidate must have a comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat DC.
