Residential Property Solicitor | 2+ PQE | Horsham
A strong opportunity to join a well-regarded regional property practice with an established residential offering and a growing specialist leasehold capability. You will take on a busy, varied caseload within a supportive team, with scope to develop in both mainstream conveyancing and more complex cases as your experience grows.
What You'll Be Doing
* Managing freehold and leasehold sales and purchases from instruction to completion
* Acting on remortgages, transfers of equity and investment/buy-to-let matters
* Working with a well-structured case management system to ensure accuracy and momentum
* Collaborating with specialist leasehold colleagues on enfranchisement and lease extension work where relevant
* Progressing matters efficiently while maintaining clear, proactive communication with clients, agents and lenders
* Ensuring high standards of due diligence and risk management in line with the firm's established processes
* Contributing to client care initiatives, maintaining the team's reputation for responsiveness and reliability
About You
* 2+ years' PQE (or equivalent) in residential conveyancing
* Confident running your own mixed caseload with appropriate supervision
* Strong organisational skills and an ability to keep files moving in line with client expectations
* Clear communicator who can provide practical, reassuring guidance throughout the transaction
* Comfortable using modern IT systems and case management tools
* Collaborative, approachable and able to build strong relationships with clients and referrers
