My client is on the lookout for a forward thinking DevOps & Automation specialist to take on an Architect position and lead their automation capabilities within a high-performing Cloud Services Group. If you're passionate about modernising infrastructure through smart automation, this is your chance to make real impact at scale.
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading our DevOps and automation strategy, driving efficiency across engineering and operations
* Designing scalable solutions—from automation scripts to full web-integrated platforms
* Developing custom APIs and integrations that streamline provisioning, billing and internal workflows
* Building frameworks and standards to ensure consistency across teams
* Acting as a subject matter expert and DevOps champion across the organisation
Required for the role:
* Deep experience with Microsoft technologies (especially Azure PaaS)
* Strong coding background (C#, PowerShell, T-SQL — bonus: Python, Java, Power Platform)
* Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, etc.)
* Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)
* Understanding of DevOps/SRE principles, API development, and SDLC best practices
