We are looking for a Finance Manager to join the Amazon Fashion Finance team. Amazon Fashion's business is a dynamic and a key strategic focus area for the company. We need bright, talented people to help us fulfill our mission of making Amazon the most-loved fashion destination for our customers. This role can be based in any of these EU locations: London, Milan, Madrid or Munich.
The Finance Manager will work closely with multiple Pan EU teams within our Category Excellence organization such as Pricing, Operations and Inventory Management to become their trusted finance partner. In this role, you will drive and/or support various financial analyses and monitor operational plans that fuel Amazon's future growth. Expect to get involved in supporting strategic projects and help building plans for the future. You will be required to stay close to the commercial, technical, and operational trends in the business and connect the dots to drive the right decisions. The growth of the business and the increasing complexity make this role an exciting, interesting, and very challenging proposition with corresponding exposure to senior management at Amazon.
Key job responsibilities
• Build financial models to drive business decisions and make judgement calls on challenges using your understanding of Amazon's Fashion cost/profit structure.
• Generate insights from financial data, identify growth and cost saving opportunities, and communicate findings with the leadership team to drive business actions.
• Own the financial and operational plan and financial reporting, create scalable processes and monitor teams for accuracy.
• Manage ad hoc requests, financial deep dives and analyses to support senior leadership.
• Identify opportunities to resolve defects proactively. Create, improve, scale, or simplify finance processes/tools across teams and organizations.
• Represent Fashion in broader category forums and collaborate with partner teams to design processes and tools that are fit for Fashion.
• Onboard, develop and mentor team members in areas of financial reporting for accuracy, create best practice materials and promote knowledge sharing.
• Partner with Fashion Retail leadership team on ad hoc projects with high visibility.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or a Bachelor's degree and experience in quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance)
- The ability to build positive business relationships and work collaboratively, across pan-EU, based on strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced Excel essential for financial modeling and analyses
- Experience working in a matrix environment; knows how to influence strategy and achieve goals by working across the organization.
- Strong analytic and communication skills, and have a passion for using data to drive business decisions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Finance experience from Retail or FMCG companies within an international environment.
