Are you a detail-oriented financial professional with a passion for accuracy and organisation? Ash Grove Accounting is a growing accountancy firm based in Clevedon, Somerset who are looking for a Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant to join our team to help us keep our financial operations running smoothly.
What You'll Do:
* Manage a designated portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
* Perform general bookkeeping duties including reconciliation of accounts and production of management accounts
* Liaise with clients and suppliers to address queries and provide ongoing support
* Support payroll and VAT submissions
* Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal procedures
The Ideal Candiate will have:
* Proven experience in bookkeeping and production of management accounts
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage) & Microsoft Excel
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* AAT qualification or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
