Location: The Old Deanery, The Cloisters, Exeter, EX1 1HS with some home-working.
The Bishop of Exeter invites applications from experienced missional ministers, lay and ordained, to develop and lead a new strategy to increase vocations to ordained and lay ministries and to support the DDO in guiding candidates through the discernment process for ordained ministry.
The Associate DDO half of the role will help to discern ordained missional leaders and the Vocations Engagement element will be help people to notice and respond to the call of God in every area of life.
We are looking for someone who is:

4. Relationally inspiring.
5. Efficiently organised.
6. To join an effective and happy team.
You will have significant experience in church ministry – lay or ordained – with the ability to communicate effectively to individuals and groups, and able both to step forward to take a lead, and to step back in order to enable others.
The normal place of work will be diocesan offices, combined with some home working. There is the expectation of occasional travel throughout the county of Devon, very occasionally on evenings and at weekends.
