Job Description
You will be supporting the following activities:
* Independent development of products and collaboration in project teams.
* Creation of 3D solid models and 2D drawings as well as parts lists.
* Creation of concept proposals & project documentation.
* Development of design solutions taking into account functional, material, manufacturing and economic aspects.
* Collaboration in prototype validation and support through to series production.
* Adherence to time schedules and development cost specifications.
* Realisation of the customer's product requirements.
* Program knowledge MS-Office and 2D / 3D CAD
* Proficiency in Solidworks and preferably familiarity with PDM systems
* Complete internal documents to ensure compliance with BOSCH standards
* Working with customers on various projects and communicate progress to them periodically
* Ensuring compliance with customer schedules and cost expectations
Qualifications
* Program knowledge MS-Office and 2D / 3D CAD
* Proficiency in Solidworks and preferably familiarity with PDM systems
* Studying an engineering degree
Additional Information
This is a 12-month internship beginning in Summer 2026. This position is open to undergraduate students who are required to partake in a work placement as part of their course.
Location: you will be based at the Coventry office.
Shortlisted candidates will then be invited to participate in a face-to-face interview by the hiring team and/or an online assessment centre.
You must have the right to live and work in the UK when you start your placement and for the full duration of your placement. Please note your placement must be directly relevant to your course to comply with visa requirements.
