Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable young people? GSL Education is seeking a dedicated Curriculum Leader to drive the English and Maths (KS1-KS4) quality of a local school in Southampton .
About the Role:
* Lead and manage Maths and English departments, including curriculum development and lesson resourcing
* Drive up standards of teaching and learning and pupil progress
* Engage staff in creating and implementing Schemes of Work and Curriculum Intent documents
* Utilize current teaching pedagogy and research across the school
* Support with Curriculum Intent Learning Walks, Book Looks, and appraisals
Ideal Candidate:
* Ability to teach up to GCSE in English and/or Maths (consideration given to other subject specialisms)
* Demonstrated leadership skills and commitment to whole school impact
* Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using Schools BI data platform
* Ability to engage staff in collaborative curriculum development
* Understanding of Trauma Informed Approach and Nurture philosophy
