Purpose of the Role:
We are looking for an expert Electrical Maintenance Lead to join our Engineering team at Leven.This hands-on role is key to ensuring our equipment runs safely, reliably, and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager, you willbe responsible fordelivering high-quality planned preventative maintenanceandsupporting operational performance.
Additionally, you will manage the safe execution of projects and improvements through adherence to Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), Permit to Work (PTW) processes, and the coordination of external contractors whenrequired.
Top Accountabilities:
1. At all times adhere to Diageo health and safety, environmental and food safety standards, and work to all applicable legislative procedures. Responsible for Safe Systems of work.
2. Supports delivery ofElectricalPlanned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to agreed schedules and standards.Coacheswider team to drive continuous improvement in electrical maintenance planning and execution.
3. Working collaboratively withcraft andoperators to support autonomous maintenance and improve equipment performance.
4. Support capital work, including installation, commissioning and testing within area asrequired. Responsible for feeding into equipment design assessment processes, and early equipment management.
5. Uses data toidentifypoor performing assets and review Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) activity to preserve good operation of our plant,machinesand processes.
You’llbe successful in this role if you:
6. Have completed a recognised apprenticeship and/or hold an HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
7. Have experience working as a maintenance engineer in FMCG, manufacturing, or a similar fast-paced environment
8. Have strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills
9. Understand preventative maintenance and the importance of asset care
10. Are comfortable usingcomputerisedmaintenance management systems (CMMS)
11. Work well both independently and as part of a team
12. Take safety seriously.Have knowledgeabout risk standards (Quality, Health & Safety, and Environment), as well as safety and hygiene compliance procedures
13. Are reliable, organised, and able to respond positively to operational demands
14. Have a good understanding of process and packaging automationwithin a manufacturing environment, including functional safety systems
