The role:
1. Installing new Hiab loader equipment to ensure best possible fit for optimum performance.
2. Reading engineering drawings and following installation guides for 24v electrical and hydraulic components.
3. Commissioning of equipment following installation and completing stability checks.
4. Generating inspection reports and test certificates to accompany vehicle upon completion.
5. Completing thorough examinations and LOLER inspections of lifting equipment, carrying out load test in line with relevant ALLMI guidelines and EN12999 machinery directive regulations.
6. Diagnosing and repairing issues with electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems during install stage.
What we’re looking for:
1. Previous experience in a similar role (Service Technician, Crane/Plant fitter, Hydraulic Fitter/Engineer etc.)
2. Strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical (24v) systems.
3. Good level of IT skills and experience using digital service tools.
4. Previous experience of load handling and slinging would be desirable but not essential as full training can be provided.
5. Full UK Driving licence.
