Remada Geoconsultants in Warwickshire specializes in identifying land liability and providing environmental, geotechnical, and engineering solutions to enhance land value for clients. Services include due diligence audits, acquisition assessments, ground investigations, and regulatory liaison. Technical expertise covers site investigation, risk assessment, geotechnical investigations, preliminary foundation design, remediation strategies, supervision & verification.
Our Senior Consultants take a lead role as the Project Managers responsible for all aspects of project implementation and reporting.
Ideally, you’ll be working towards chartered status with a relevant professional body and have a thorough experience of ground investigation and contaminated land risk assessment from a consultancy or contracting background. You’ll also need a good understanding of geotechnical assessments, reporting and enthusiasm to build your career. Good commercial skills and strong personal and communication skills are required to build, maintain and consolidate working relationships with colleagues, clients and external bodies.
Responsibilities
* Preparation of proposals and bids.
* Site appraisals, desk‑based assessments, analysis and interpretative reporting.
* Supervising intrusive site investigations including logging, sampling and monitoring.
* Data assessment and evaluation, including Generic Quantitative Risk Assessment (DQRA would be beneficial).
* Providing technical expertise to clients and designers relating to land contamination risk assessment.
* Recommendations for foundation design and earthworks, remediation design and implementation.
* Writing and review of interpretative reports ready for approval by senior staff; supporting more senior staff and potentially leading on work delivery.
* Developing client relationships through effective and robust project management and strong communication.
Required Qualifications / Professional Experience
Ideally, you’ll have a MSc in Geology / GeoScience / Geoengineering and a minimum of 5‑6 years experience, and be working towards chartered/professional status. A full driving licence is essential and you’ll be confident to work autonomously when on site.
We are based at a modern high‑spec office in Henley in Arden with a relaxed working environment. We request flexibility in working hours to accommodate site work but in return we enable work from home with agreement. The salary is dependent upon qualification, age and experience.
