Sanctuary Personnel is currently recruiting for a dedicated Family Support Worker to join a supportive team in Sefton.
This role involves providing practical, emotional, and social support to children, young people, and their families, contributing directly to care planning and promoting the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable individuals in the community.
Hours : 36 per week
Location : Sefton
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to assessments, care plans and reviews, ensuring a child-centred approach that empowers children, young people and their families.
* Deliver direct support in homes and community settings to promote positive outcomes, in line with Child in Need, Child Protection and other statutory plans.
* Supervise and promote contact between looked-after children and their birth families, in accordance with the agreed Care Plan.
* Identify and assess levels of risk, and with appropriate support, implement protective or supportive interventions for children at risk or in need.
* Escalate safeguarding concerns appropriately through the line management structure.
Applicant Requirements:
* Experience : Proven experience supporting children, young people and their families.
* Qualifications : Level 3 qualification related to working with children and young people.
* Compliance : Enhanced DBS and Right to Work in the UK.
* Travel : Full UK driving licence (essential).
