Mon – Fri, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Salary: Up to £30k/annum
Join a leading manufacturer of precision materials testing equipment as we launch a cutting‑edge range of electromechanical and optical test devices.
We’re looking for a hands‑on Assembly Technician to build, test, and ship specialist instruments from the ground up.
What You’ll Do
* Assemble complex devices from drawings and instructions
* Perform quality checks, testing, and final packing
* Manage incoming materials, database entries, and ERP reports
* Support stores and operational processes in a small, collaborative team
What You’ll Bring
* Proven experience or strong hobbyist background in electromechanical assembly
* ONC/HNC or NVQ in electrical/electronic engineering (preferred)
* Precision skills with intricate components
* A proactive mindset and desire for a stable, long‑term role
