Who is the opportunity with?
This client is a family-owned global business that specialises in companion animal nutraceuticals — non-drug substances administered to improve the health & well-being of animals.
Their products support companion animals in categories such as joints, gastrointestinal health, internal organs, skin/coat, and brain/behavior.
Over 90% of their products are produced in-house at their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, and the business has a presence in over 40 countries worldwide.
What does the role consist of?
As an Area Sales Manager, you will cover a geographical territory across Surrey and Hampshire, ideally near Reading. You will receive comprehensive market-leading training, with the first 42 weeks of development planned for you. Training will be conducted on-patch with the existing sales team, virtually, and on-site at HQ (fully expensed).
Once settled, a typical day involves 3-4 meetings, focusing on acquiring new business or selling into existing accounts. You will represent the full range of nutraceuticals, selling into independent veterinary practices.
The company promotes from within; past graduate role members include UK National Sales Manager, Business Unit Manager for Western Europe, and Northern Regional Sales Manager.

This role is ideal for an ambitious university graduate (2.1 grade or higher) seeking an entry-level sales opportunity.
A valid driving license is essential, as a company car will be provided.
No previous experience is required. The role suits a confident, friendly individual who is a relationship builder. Resilience and a target-driven mentality are important due to the fast-paced nature of the role.
