Experience as a Care Team Leader or Senior Support Worker with an NVQ / QCF in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is advantageous. However, dedicated Care Assistants or Carers with a solid track record and ambition to progress are encouraged to apply. As a Team Leader, you will lead and motivate a team of support workers to ensure delivery of excellent person-centred care, enabling individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives.
Your responsibilities include recruiting support staff, conducting staff supervisions, interviews, and providing guidance. You should possess excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff, individuals supported, and external professionals. Good written communication and IT skills are also essential for record keeping.
Our Supported Living services in East Lancashire support adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, or mental health conditions.
