We are recruiting across the following four strategic areas: Clean Energy Industries: Hydrogen and biogas fuels, energy networks, environmental economics, green finance, ethical supply chains, and behavioural change. Digital and Technologies: AI and machine learning, cybersecurity, spatial intelligence, robotics, human-computer interaction, and digital transformation. Life Sciences: Drug discovery, diagnostics, pain research, preventative healthcare, wearable biosensors, and public health surveillance. Professional and Business Services: Retail innovation, fintech, smart logistics, digital policy, and inclusive growth. This is a research-intensive role, with the expectation of significant contributions to research excellence and innovation as well as also contributing to teaching within your associated Department. What we’re looking for: A sustained record of high-quality research and funding within at least one of the priority areas of digital and technologies, life sciences, or professional and business services. Evidence of leadership in innovation and collaboration, and the capability to translate research to deliver real-world impact. Strategic thinking and mentoring capability.
