Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Graduate Cover Supervisor role will be a dedicated graduate who is confident working with secondary school pupils through a variety of subjects. You must be a resilient role model and a quick learner. This is a perfect position for someone who is applying for a PGCE in the near future and would like to develop their skills. You will need a core subject degree with a 2:1 or above and some evidence of working with children/pupils in the past.
Role
This exciting role is starting as soon as possible, and will run right through until July 2025 with a chance of a schools direct contract. The school believe in utilising cover supervisors to gain invaluable experience for your career development. You will also have the opportunity to deliver vital intervention sessions for pupils who are struggling in core subject areas.
This Graduate Cover Supervisor role offers the perfect introduction to the teaching environment. The role involves a fantastic training and development programme, growing your confidence in the classroom. You will initially be working with small groups of pupils and covering lessons as your grow into your role. This fantastic secondary school & sixth form is located close to fantastic transport links.
