An opportunity has arisen to join The Amethyst Team Perinatal Mental Health Midwives to be part of the team working closely with our women/birthing people with additional perinatal mental health needs.
This will be a permanent full time position of 37.5 hours per week. Hours/days can be flexible and will be discussed at interview. This can include some weekend working on a rota basis. No nights/no bank holidays. This will also involve regular cross site working so it is an essential criteria point that the midwife is a driver, has access to a car and able to travel cross site.
If you are an experienced Band 6 midwife and would like to develop your skills in the field of Perinatal Mental Health please see the attached job description for an overview of the role. You will be supported to develop your skills in role and work alongside our existing team of experienced midwives and admin support.
Your focus will be on the safety and experience of women and birthing people. This will inform your documentation, clinical care provision and the drive for an open and just culture of learning. You will understand the importance of collaboration and team work.
A highly skilled communicator you will have a drive to empower and support women and birthing people with perinatal mental health issues. Building relationships with stakeholders across the MDT and wider sectors will be essential.
