Position
Inventory Control Clerk/Stock Clerk – Bellshill, United Kingdom. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30. Salary: £28,000per annum.
Responsibilities
* Keep good in/out inventory, purchasing, shipping and other records up to date using SAP AS400 WMS.
* Compile data from purchase orders, invoices, requisitions and accounting reports.
* Determine stock supply and need for replenishment.
* Identify and process damages, inventory adjustments and shrinkage issues.
* Conduct cycle counts and assist in physical inventories.
* Verify product IDs, pallet numbers, authorised substitutes and other details against catalogues and manuals.
* Review files to identify unused items and recommend disposal of excess or damaged products.
* Follow regulatory and company safety standards, policies and procedures.
* Assist with new goods in/out booking requests via Outlook and telephone.
* Use PPE when necessary in the cold store.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in stock control.
* Previous experience or willingness to learn Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
* Computer literate and confident in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
* Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
* Confident communicator face‑to‑face and over the telephone.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work within a team in a fast‑paced environment.
* Ability to drive to site and work during the specified days.
