Salary: £28,000 - 68,000 per year Requirements: A passion for technology and making technology work for businesses. Senior-level experience in solutions architecture/security architecture. Proven capability to design security controls across various areas such as: - Cloud workload protection (VM/container/serverless security patterns) - DevSecOps / secure SDLC (threat modelling, CI/CD security, supply chain awareness) - Client-side protection (endpoint security and operational response integration) Working knowledge of relevant vendor solutions such as Tenable, Orca, Snyk, Wiz, Crowdstrike, and Palo Alto. Responsibilities: Lead customer discovery and translate business, technical, and risk requirements into clear, deliverable security architectures. Act as Technical Design Authority on complex cloud and security engagements. Collaborate with other Architecture Services members, Professional Services Consultants, Cyber Assessment Team, and Architects to develop cross-discipline and multi-vendor solutions for customers. Provide technical information and expertise to the Softcat Sales Specialists and Account Management team to assist customers with their business needs. Advise sales and customers regarding the application of Cyber Security disciplines.
