Class 2 Delivery Driver
Our client is currently seeking a reliable and responsible Class 2 Delivery Driver to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced multi-drop driver looking to work in a varied and dynamic role with excellent benefits.
Key Details:
* Start time: 3 AM (advised)
* Hours: Average 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday
* Salary: £38,100 per annum
* Holidays: 20 days plus bank holidays
* Additional benefits: Health insurance after 6 months
About the Role:
You will be responsible for performing multiple drops across various locations and days, delivering products safely and efficiently to customers. The role demands a professional attitude, a strong focus on customer service and adherence to all safety and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and prepare routes in advance for efficient delivery
* Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses via multiple routes
* Conduct thorough checks of loaded items before departure
* Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks to avoid delays
* Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
* Return the vehicle in good condition after use
* Comply with all driving and logistics legislation
* Engage professionally with customers and collect payments where required
* Ensure all deliveries reach customers on time
What Our Client Is Looking For:
* Full UK Driving License with Class 2 entitlement
* Valid and up-to-date CPC qualification
* Proven experience as a skilled multi-drop driver
* Experience working within a similar environment preferred
* Physically fit to lift and carry goods on and off the vehicle
* Flexible and positive attitude with strong customer focus
* Good geographical knowledge of delivery areas
