Are you an enthusiastic & ambitious Senior Mental Health Nurse looking for your next challenge? Cygnet have been providing a national network of specialist mental health services for more than 30 years.

We're looking for a Quality and Compliance Lead (RMN or RNLD) with a passion for maintaining high standards. You'll be the driving force behind maintaining our exceptional quality of our care at Cygnet Joyce Parker Hospital.

Cygnet Joyce Parker Hospital is our emergency mental health hospital in Coventry. The service supports adults across three wards to move as quickly and safely as possible to the most appropriate and least restrictive environment for them.

Your Day-to-Day…

* You'll be working 40 hours per week, at Cygnet Joyce Parker Hospital.
* Provide direction and support to clinical teams & department managers
* Complete audits & ensure compliance with CQC "Key Lines of Enquiry" (KLOE)
* Put action plans in place & ensure actions are delivered to rectify non/partial compliance
* Oversee good medicines management and compliance with CQC standards & best practice
* Ensure CQC notifications are to a high standard & sent in a timely manner
* Report incidents & learn lessons from adverse incidents
* Support effective safeguarding investigations & reports
* Make sure monthly & quarterly CQUIN submissions are completed to required deadlines
* Adhere to timescales for SI reporting & ensure SI review meetings are held in a timely manner.

You are…

* A mental health nurse with a previous role in Quality & Compliance or with 2 years' experience at ward manager level
* Committed to delivering service improvement strategies across all aspects of service provision
* Skilled at managing change & leadership initiatives
* An excellent people person who can motivate & develop others
* Open, compassionate, honest & resilient
* Capable of undertaking audits & closing the audit cycle
* Well informed of the Mental Health Act 1983 & knowledgeable of the latest nursing practices
* Focused on patient recovery to monitor, manage & reduce risk.
