Are you a Psychology graduate or soon-to-be graduate looking to gain meaningful experience in Primary Education?
We work closely with a number of welcoming primary schools across Sunderland, South Tyneside, and Gateshead who are keen to support Psychology graduates and final-year students looking to build a career in education, SEN, or child psychology.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical, paid classroom experience while making a real difference to children’s learning and wellbeing.

The role will involve:
5. Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
6. Assisting children with SEN, SEMH, and additional learning needs
7. Working alongside experienced class teachers and SENCOs
8. Helping pupils build confidence, engagement, and positive behaviour
Must Have:
9. A Psychology degree OR be in your final year of a Psychology (or related) degree
10. Referenceable employment history covering the last 2 years (this can include part-time, voluntary, or university-based roles)
11. A genuine interest in working with children and education
12. Willingness to complete safeguarding and compliance checks
