<div><p>Role: Reporting directly to the Regional Head of SHE, you will manage all environmental aspects that affect the Business. You will be part of a network of environmental professionals providing specialist environmental and sustainability advice to support pre‑construction and construction teams with large, world‑class multi‑utility and infrastructure projects.</p><h3>Responsibilities & Duties</h3><ul><li>Ensure environmental risks are identified early and solutions integrated into project design and construction.</li><li>Deploy long‑term sustainable solutions, considering development lifecycle, occupancy, and climate resilience within award‑winning projects.</li><li>Provide specialist environmental and sustainability advice to pre‑construction and construction teams.</li><li>Develop documents and procedures consistent with ISO 14001 and maintain environmental management systems.</li><li>Support environmental risk assessment and mitigation throughout the project life cycle.</li></ul><h3>Knowledge & Experience</h3><ul><li>Good technical and industry knowledge of environmental services, including ground works, remediation, waste management, pollution control, and general construction operations.</li><li>Clean full UK Driving Licence.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership experience.</li><li>Fully computer literate; proficient with Word, Excel and other reporting tools.</li><li>Understanding and knowledge of health and safety at work; IOSH or NEBOSH qualification advantageous.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with internal and external clients at all levels.</li><li>Keen commercial awareness; ability to develop new business opportunities with clients.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Environmental Degree.</li><li>IEMA Practitioner or relevant membership from a professional body.</li><li>Relevant experience as an Environmental Manager or similar role.</li><li>Experience developing documents and procedures consistent with ISO 14001.</li></ul></div>
