Rolls-Royce Measurement & Test Engineering organization has an exciting opportunity to join our team as an IT Systems Architect to support in expanding, improving, and maintaining our global portfolio of Aerospace Engine Test Facilities.
The organization is responsible for designing and delivering the infrastructure required to test next-generation gas turbine engines for Civil and Defence applications.

You will be working for the Rolls-Royce Technical Authority for Aerospace Engine Test Facilities, collaborating with colleagues in Derby, across the UK, and internationally.
What you will be doing
* Defining and delivering IT & OT systems architecture for Rolls-Royce test facilities.
* Working with the Measurement & Test Organization and Group IT to support civil and defence gas turbine engines.
* Designing and implementing strategic solutions for systems and software management in test facilities.
* Collaborating with key suppliers to ensure systems are fit for purpose and compliant with RR Group IT policies.
* Ensuring test networks are resilient to cybersecurity risks and adhere to international standards.
* Interfacing with Group IT to align policies and toolsets.

Essential qualifications include:
* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or HND with industrial experience.
* Experience in project environments.
* Skilled in technical report/document writing.
* Ability to define test requirements and perform acceptance testing.
* Experience with cost-benefit analysis and business case development.
Preferred qualifications:
* Knowledge of cybersecurity tools and standards.
* Familiarity with programming languages (Java, C++, Python, SQL).
* Awareness of modern systems tools and processes.
* Experience with DevOps and Agile practices.
* Understanding of Systems Engineering approaches.
