Are you our next Care Team Leader? Here's more about the role: As a Care Team Leader, you will look after the day-to-day needs of our residents, whilst showing compassion, care and commitment to having a positive impact on their lives. You will work with a team of like-minded individuals, all with a desire to ensuring that our residents are comfortable in their home. You will also support Care Assistants in their development.
Responsibilities
* Work with the team to enrich residents\' lives and support colleagues while maintaining a positive work environment.
* Provide the highest quality of personalised care to residents in line with their individual care plans.
* Facilitate leisure and social activities as an important part of the day.
* Be the best Care Team Leader by being kind and supportive to residents, their families and colleagues.
Training and qualification - Re train the trainer for moving and handling and the additional £250.00 payment per year. You can be trained with a formal qualification.
Skills and qualifications
* Team work: a happy team supports happy residents and a happy home; applications from people from diverse backgrounds are welcome to support an inclusive environment.
* Experience in care is an essential requirement; an NVQ3 in Social Care is desirable.
* Excellent communication with a flexible approach; you will be kind and genuinely care for older people with respect and dignity.
* We work closely with the Home Office in order to prevent illegal working. An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check will be necessary for successful applicants, which we will pay for.

About Meadow View and Role Details
* Meadow View Residential Care Home, Blackthorn Road, Hersden, Canterbury, Kent, CT3 4GB
* £15.20 per hour
* 39 hours per week available on Night duty (8pm start, 12hr shifts)
* 39 hours per week available on Day duty
* All roles include alternate weekend working
