Learning Support Assistant – Complex SEND School (Southampton)
Location: Southampton
Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour
Hours: 8:45am to 3:15pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Teaching Personnel are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join a complex SEND school in Southampton, supporting both primary and secondary-aged pupils with a range of additional needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in education, healthcare, medicine, or support work who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
The Role:
Supporting pupils with complex learning needs, including ASC, ADHD, and non-verbal communication
Assisting with classroom activities and tailored learning plans
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals
Requirements:
Experience in education, healthcare, or a care or support role
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
A valid Enhanced Child Workforce DBS, or willingness to apply
Availability for full-time work, 8:45am to 3:15pm, term-time only

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
