As Finance Manager, you will take responsibility for the company’s financial health and performance. You’ll lead the finance function, manage budgets and reporting, and provide strategic financial insight to support decision-making. Working closely with senior management, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing financial strategies that align with operational and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.
* Manage all aspects of financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
* Oversee financial processes related to stock management, costing, and operational performance.
* Conduct regular cost control reviews and recommend efficiency improvements.
* Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management and key stakeholders.
* Play a key role in the implementation of a new ERP system, ensuring financial controls and data integrity are maintained throughout the transition.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners including auditors, bankers, and other professional advisors.
* Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to deliver high-quality financial support.
About You
* Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar senior finance role.
* Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, budgeting, and forecasting.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
* Confident communicator with the ability to present financial information clearly.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop others.
* Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) preferred, though substantial experience will also be considered.
* Experience within a manufacturing environment is essential.
