Course Leader and Lecturer in Music Production Access Creative College Bristol Contract Type: Permanent Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week Salary: £24,716 - £28,814 per annum Location: Bristol About the Role The role will be responsible for leading a cohort of (primarily music) students and successfully managing and supporting them to achieve their expected outcomes. You will provide vision and oversight to your respective programme of study. You will oversee and lead the student journey within their study programme, and work to ensure all learners have a consistent, engaging and successful experience. The successful candidate will support with quality functions; such as walkthroughs and IV. You will plan and deliver effective, course progress sessions and you will individually support students to develop strong knowledge, skills and behaviours through a progressive and impactful one-to-one progress review schedule which meets the needs of all learners. You will effectively plan and deliver inspiring lessons, with a teaching caseload proportional to learner numbers within your area. Who are we? We’re an Ofsted ‘Good’ provider that reach every corner of the country, with 7 campuses and over 2,500 students nationwide. We are part of Access Education Group which boasts 32 campuses nationwide with over 5,000 students & apprentices across ACC, dBs Institute (Higher Education) & Access Sport About you You will be an experienced educator with a proven track record of effective student management within further education. You will have a teaching qualification at level 4 or above and it is desirable that you have experience of teaching across a range of levels within the FE curriculum. You will be a visionary with the leadership experience to engage, implement and drive forward change. You will ideally have knowledge and experience in music production i.e. sound engineering theory and practice, Studio Recording, keyboard with a DAW, Composition Skills, and post-production work. You will work with experienced, passionate tutors as well as within a support service provided by our Central Team.
