Job Opportunity: Account Manager
Salary: £23k - £25k (negotiable based on experience) + commission – realistic £50k OTE.
Location: Based in-office / Out in the field / Home-based.
Reporting To: Managing Director
Requirements: Valid driver’s license and residence within 45 minutes of Worthing/Lancing.
A long-established West Sussex IT and Telecoms company is seeking a relationship- and customer-focused Account Manager to join their team. They are a successful SME providing Telephone Systems, Line & Call Services, eBusiness, Broadband, Mobile, and Networking services to SMEs in their territory.
This role involves managing 100–200 accounts in the South of the country, ensuring high-quality service and support.

2. Business development within existing accounts, ensuring excellent customer service, renewals, and acting as a success manager for client needs.
3. Calling lapsed clients and warm leads from marketing to generate new business and expand your portfolio.
4. Account management—maintaining satisfaction among SME clients using the company's products/services.
5. Upselling and cross-selling—identifying opportunities to increase sales by addressing client needs with the company's offerings.
6. Achieving KPIs related to upselling, client visits, and revenue.
7. Receiving commissions on renewals, new business, upgrades, hardware, software, and inbound leads.
Interview process involves two stages: a phone call and a face-to-face meeting.
