We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Lead Paralegal to join our Credit Hire team in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and capable individual to take the next step in their legal career within a highly regarded, fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
* Managing a caseload of complex and high-value credit hire claims
* Providing technical guidance and oversight to junior paralegals and legal assistants
* Reviewing and advising on case strategy, evidence, and risk
* Ensuring compliance with SLA, KPI, and quality standards
* Liaising with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders with professionalism and clarity
* Supporting the team leader with training, performance monitoring, and workflow management
* Contributing to process improvement and knowledge sharing within the department
What will help you succeed in this role?
Essential
* Previous experience handling credit hire or motor claims (defendant experience preferred)
* Strong litigation knowledge and confidence dealing with Part 7 and Part 8 proceedings
* Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
* A proactive, solution-focused approach with strong attention to detail
* Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
