We are seeking an accomplished Food Production Supervisor to elevate food production within a large Central Production Unit (CPU). Maintaining excellent standards of food safety and quality control, and working towards increasing sales, are essential.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous catering supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment

Main duties of the job
To provide professional and supervisory leadership within the Central Production Unit at Memorial Hospital, Darlington.
Responsibilities include liaising with stakeholders, managing operational control within budget, ensuring food safety and quality, and working closely with PFI partners.
The role involves day-to-day leadership, ensuring the catering service meets or exceeds user expectations, and includes specific responsibilities such as adhering to food safety standards, HACCP, quality control, and lean management. The post holder will also oversee staff recruitment, training, and welfare procedures.

Qualifications
* Level 3 Diploma in Team Leading/Supervision or equivalent
* C&G 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ equivalent
* Food Allergens Awareness Certification
* Level 2 HACCP Certification
* Evidence of CPD
