My client based in Colwick NG4 is currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis, with guaranteed work and the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.
Role Purpose
As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the production of high-quality gas cylinders while adhering to health, safety, and quality standards. The role involves working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment to meet production targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate machinery and equipment as required.
* Perform manual handling tasks, such as lifting, positioning, and assembling materials or components.
* Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to complete production tasks efficiently.
* Conduct visual inspections to ensure products meet quality standards and report defects immediately.
* Complete quality checks and maintain accurate records as required.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent hazards.
* Identify and report potential safety risks or hazards.
* Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to achieve production targets.
* Provide feedback to improve processes and workflows.
* Assist with cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas.
* Support other departments as required and participate in training sessions and team meetings.

Working Conditions
* Shift-based work, including mornings (06:00-14:00), afternoons (14:00-22:00), and nights (22:00-06:00).
* Standing for extended periods and lifting/moderate weights.
* Factory environment with exposure to noise, heat, or chemicals; PPE provided.
