Tradingis responsible forachievement of agreed plan metrics.You’llcontribute to a wide range of activities with immediate impact to our customers and performance.
Whatyou'llbe doing:
1. RunningPrice Optimisation in Radar on a regular basis tohit the financial plan for Motor product.
2. Tracking andidentifyingmarket opportunities and proposing rate changes
3. Constantly find newefficient ways of pricing
4. Embedding a test and learn approach in pricing
5. Proposing price changes and getting it signed off from key stakeholders.
6. Testing theproposed changes before being deployed in Live.
7. ConductingPost implementation reviewsand take actions where the actual impacts are not in line with expectation.
8. Portfolio Management and Mix monitoring
9. Stakeholder management andengagement across internal teams
10. All the while, ensuring thatappropriate governanceprocesses are followed to ensure we have relevantsign-offsand regulatory compliance checks have been completed.
11. Initiallyyou’llfocus either on PCW or on Direct channels
Our hybrid model offers a 'best of both worlds' approach. When you'll be in the office depends on your role and team, but colleagues spend at least 2 days a week in the office
Whatyou’llneed:
12. General understanding of insurance.
13. Understanding of key legislation and regulation applying to motor insurance and how thisimpactspricing algorithms, models, customerpremiumsand experience.
14. Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for problem solving.
15. Ability to communicate complex information ina simple way.
16. Experience of multivariate modelling, for example in Emblem.
17. Experience of data manipulation using languages, such as SQL or Python.
18. Experience of statistical and mathematical techniques and proven experience of applying theseeffectively.
19. Desire to be accountable for your deliverables and the performance of Motor products
