Repton Manor Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Class Teacher with responsibility for leading Maths. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong classroom practitioner who is ready to develop their leadership skills and make a meaningful impact on teaching and learning across the school.
You will combine excellent class teaching with the strategic leadership of maths, ensuring high standards, strong pupil outcomes and a coherent, well-sequenced curriculum from EYFS to Year 6.
The Role
As Class Teacher with Maths Leader, you will:
1. Deliver high-quality teaching that inspires, challenges and supports all pupils.
2. Lead the development, implementation and review of the maths curriculum across the school.
3. Promote consistency and high expectations in the teaching of fluency, reasoning, problem-solving and mathematical vocabulary.
4. Monitor standards in mathematics and use assessment information to drive improvement.
5. Model excellent practice and support colleagues through coaching and professional development.
6. Contribute to whole-school improvement, self-evaluation and inspection readiness.
7. Engage positively with parents to support maths learning at home.
