We have an exciting opportunity within our Works and Estates department who are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Maintenance Technician.
About the role:
You will join on a full time, permanent basis (40 hours per week).
The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day general maintenance and repair of the college buildings and fabric infrastructure.

Key responsibilities (Including but not limited to; see job description for full requirements):
* Painting and decorating - Minor repairs as required.
* Carpentry/Joinery - First line maintenance of fixtures and fittings, door and window furniture and minor repairs. Installing shelves, pinboards, pictures etc.
* To ensure the gullies, drains etc are kept free from debris.
* Internal glazing - Remedial action after damage or break-ins to include temporary boarding.
* Tiling- minor tile repairs
Person Specification
The successful incumbent must have
* Experience in general trades and/or the construction industry
* Experience in Health and safety in the workplace.
* Excellent communication skills
