Job Description:
Highland Consulting Group is working with a growing General Contractor in the Rochester, NY area to find an experienced Assistant Project Manager.
This permanent, full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to commercial new builds and improvement projects while supporting seasoned Project Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
* Support project managers in supervising all phases of assigned projects.
* Assist with scheduling, budget management, and subcontractor buyouts.
* Help negotiate and track change orders.
* Interface directly with owners and stakeholders.
* Maintain comprehensive project records and close-out documentation.
* Coordinate and perform punch-list inspections with superintendents and owners.
Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager with a General Contractor on projects exceeding $3M.
* Strong understanding of construction documentation and project management support.
* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
* A Bachelors degree in construction or related field is preferred but not required.

Anticipated salary range for this role is $80,000 - $95,000 annually. As required by local law, Highland Consulting Group believes that the attached salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position.
