We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering environmental safety standards with a strong background in environment, health & safety management, safety audits (ISO14001) and driving safety culture change within the business.
The Role
As Head of Environment, Health and Safety you will be responsible for developing and maintaining EHS standards to ensure compliance with Environmental Agency and Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation. Attention to detail and integrity is therefore essential.
Responsibilities
* Work with Airport Management, Airport Colleagues, Internal and External Stakeholders and Tenants on behalf of the Airport Authority to maintain accurate EHS documentation and records in accordance with internal compliance standards
* Provide advice and support in the development of working practices to enhance the reputation of the airport
* Collaborate across the business to leverage opportunities for operational and strategic development
* Senior leadership responsibilities and cross-functional engagement as part of the airport leadership team
Qualifications and Skills
* Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
* Qualified, experienced professional in environment, health and safety
