We are currently recruiting for a permanent position an Inside Sales Account Manager, German-speaking.
About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated Inside Sales Account Manager (German-speaking) to join our dynamic team at Gilson. This hybrid-working position will have you engage with customers across all industry segments to prospect, qualify, and close sales opportunities within your assigned territory.
You will promote and sell our wide range of consumables and instruments through phone, email, and social selling platforms, ensuring strong customer relationships and business growth. You’ll follow best sales practices to maintain a healthy and sustainable territory focused on customer retention, development, penetration, and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Meet or exceed sales targets for volume, product mix, and awareness of new products and services.
* Prospect new business opportunities across target market segments, including lead follow-up from marketing campaigns.
* Conduct outbound sales calls, emails, and virtual meetings as per management’s contact metrics.
* Use social selling tools to generate leads and promote Gilson’s portfolio.
* Maintain and update leads, opportunities, and forecasts in Gilson’s CRM system.
* Prepare quotations and pricing agreements adhering to company guidelines.
* Participate in training sessions to build technical and product expertise.
* Provide timely responses to customer inquiries and transfer leads appropriately.
* Collaborate with internal support teams to resolve customer issues promptly.
What We’re Looking For:
* Fluent in German and English (other local languages a plus).
* Degree in Life Sciences or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
* At least 1 year of outbound sales experience with defined targets, preferably in life sciences or laboratory environment.
* Strong proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
* Excellent communication skills with a confident and persuasive phone presence.
* Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
Additional Desired Skills:
* Experience with laboratory or research instrumentation.
* Familiarity with Gilson products, especially pipettes and capital equipment.
