Job Summary
We are seeking a Plumbing & Heating Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating project costs, preparing accurate estimates, and ensuring that all financial aspects of projects are thoroughly assessed. We as a company specialise in plumbing & heating for modular buildings. The candidate must have experience in the plumbing & heating sector. The current role has become available due to our current estimator retiring after 15 years,
Duties
* Review project plans and specifications to understand the scope of work.
* Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, and overheads.
* Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
* Maintain comprehensive records of estimates, including calculations and assumptions made during the estimation process.
Skills
* Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Proficiency in cost control techniques and methodologies.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
* A solid understanding of construction processes and materials is advantageous.
