The Role – Vehicle Technician
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Automotive Mechanic to join a busy and growing workshop team.
You will be responsible for carrying out vehicle servicing, diagnostics, maintenance, and mechanical repairs across a variety of makes and models. This role suits a technician who enjoys problem-solving, working with modern diagnostic tools, and delivering high-quality automotive repair work.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
* Carry out mechanical repairs including brakes, suspension, steering, and engines
* Conduct vehicle inspections and fault finding
* Ensure all work is completed to high professional and safety standards
* Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
* Work collaboratively with other technicians to maintain efficient workshop operations
Candidate Profile
* Experience working as a Vehicle Technician / Automotive Mechanic
* Good knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and mechanical repair
* Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Full UK driving licence
* Own tools preferred
